Founder & Head Coach
Emily Jansen
Emily began her baton twirling journey in Omaha, Nebraska, where she discovered a local twirling team that inspired her to pursue the sport. Her passion for baton twirling led her to become a feature twirler in both high school and college. Throughout her twirling career, Emily has been fortunate to perform and compete nationally and internationally, including marching in the iconic St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland.
After moving to Salt Lake City, Emily created Salt Lake City Twirlers in 2023 with the goal of sharing her passion for baton twirling and building a positive, encouraging community for young athletes. With over 10 years of experience teaching baton twirling through group classes and private lessons, Emily is excited to continue growing Salt Lake City Twirlers and inspiring the next generation of twirlers through a fun, supportive, and uplifting environment.
